Day of the Tentacle Remastered First Screenshots Revealed

Double Fine has revealed the first screenshots for Day of the Tentacle Remastered, the remade version of the 1993 LucasArts point-and-click classic adventure game.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered will feature new hand-drawn, high-resolution artwork, remastered audio, music and sound effects, and a commentary track by the game’s original creators: Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Larry Ahern, Peter Chan, Peter McConnell and Clint Bajakian.

The remastered version will allow you to toggle between the new and old artwork of the adventure game and adds an optional new user interface with a verb dial to the standard grid commands at the bottom of the screen.

Like in the original Day of the Tentacle, its prequel Maniac Mansion will be included as an in-game bonus.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 early 2016 with Cross-Buy support.
