Cosmic Star Heroine Is Getting A Physical Release On PS Vita And PS4

Zeboyd Games has announced that its upcoming role-playing game Cosmic Star Heroine is getting a physical release on PS Vita and PS4, thanks to a partnership with Limited Run Games.

Each physical copy will cost $25 and only a limited number of physical editions will be available. Everyone who donated $200 or more to the Kickstarter will get a physical copy of their choice and if you backed the game at $3.000 you will get both physical editions automatically. More details on how to preorder and what the physical edition will include will be revealed closer to the release.

For those not familiar, Cosmic Star Heroine is a turn-based sci-fi Japanese-style role-playing game from the makers of Cthulhu Saves the World and is inspired by Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star & Suikoden.

Take control of Alyssa L’Salle, one of the galactic government’s top agents, who accidentally uncovers a dark conspiracy that her own government outs her as a legendary spy that every villainous organization she’s ever crossed is after her now.

Cosmic Star Heroine will feature classic turn-based gameplay, 2D graphics from the 16-bit era, animated cutscenes, a retro soundtrack by Hyperduck, multi-character combo techniques, your own spy headquarters, and intricately designed encounters that make each new battle its own challenge.

Cosmic Star Heroine will be released for PS Vita and PS4 in 2016.
