First Look At The PS Vita Exclusive Uppers

Marvelous has released a demo for its upcoming PS Vita exclusive beat ’em up Uppers from Senran Kagura producer Kenichiro Takaki.

We have downloaded the 378 MB demo version from the Japanese PlayStation Network and played the tutorial mode including the two available missions.

Uppers is set on an isolated island where fighting has become the most popular entertainment form. Attacks will automatically change based on the enemy’s position and posture and combos will be unleashed by repeatedly mashing buttons. During the fights, girls will cheer to heat the guys up and if you defeat an enemy in front of the girls, you will power up.

Uppers will be released for the PS Vita in Japan on April 21, 2016. A western release has not been announced yet.
