Moon Hunters For PS Vita Cancelled

Canadian developer Kitfox Games today announced that the PS Vita version of their myth-building RPG Moon Hunters has been cancelled.

The developer revealed that it was more difficult to port Moon Hunters to Sony’s handheld and the only way to make it work on the PS Vita was to reduce the game’s quality which was unacceptable for them.

Tanya Short from Kitfox Games personally apologized for the cancellation and that PS Vita Kickstarter backers can either get any other game key (PC or PS4) or a refund of the $15 CAD of the game key value itself.

Moon Hunters was released for the PS4 in North America on July 19, 2016 and launches on the PS4 in Europe on August 30, 2016.

Maaaaaaaannnnnnn…. if the Indy studios start to cancel Vita versions and stop developing for it… then I’ll see a bleak future for my favorite console…. Talking about cancelling and Vita versions… Has anyone ever heard something about the Banner Saga, ever since Sony gave a helping hand….???
