Brazilian developer QUByte Interactive has released a new trailer and screenshots for its upcoming beat ’em up 99Vidas – The Game.

99Vidas – The Game is set in a contemporary world and captures the excitement of beat ’em ups like Final Fight, Double Dragon, Battletoads, Golden Axe and Streets of Rage. Brought to you in all pixelated-16-bit-esque glory, full of references to not only gaming, but all of the pop culture from the 80’s and 90’s, with the mechanics of modern era gaming.

6 stages (with more to come) will take you on a journey to different parts of the world to face hordes of fierce enemies and relentless bosses, but you don’t have to it alone: you can face this challenge with up to 4-players in co-op play, both local and online.

99Vidas – The Game will be released for PS Vita, PS4 and XBox One in Q1 2017 and for PC in December 2016.
