Death Mark Announced For PS Vita

In the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation, Experience has officially announced the horror adventure game Death Mark (Shiin) for the PS Vita.

Death Mark is set in the Tokyo Metropolitan H City where rumor has it that those with a birthmark called the “Mark” will die, and a mysterious event was caused as a result of the mark. Those who possess the mark were heading to a certain mansion where they were greeted by the mansion’s master, a beautiful doll that can speak.

In order to find a way to remove the death curse, those with a mark must explore the mansion’s “Kaii” spots. The game’s protagonist is a middle-aged man who has lost all his memory. He needs to pick a partner from the marked persons to explore and investigate the mansion.

The death threatening “Kaii” exists within the mansion’s spiritual spots. As facing “Kaii” means death, players must choose the best option to escape. If the choice is wrong, it will result in a game over.

Development of the game is currently 50 percent complete.

Death Mark will be released for the PS Vita in Japan in 2017 for 4,800 yen.
