Koei Tecmo has announced at Tokyo Game Show 2017 that Attack on Titan 2 will be coming to PS Vita and Nintendo Switch in Japan in early 2018, alongside the release on PS4 and PC.
Attack on Titan 2 lets players experience the story of the second season of the television anime with an increased number of playable characters compared to the 10 playable characters from Koei Tecmo’s first Attack on Titan game.
The 3D maneuver gear actions will be more diversified and the Titan movements have evolved that will make the battles more exhilarating. Players will also be able to have deep exchanges with the characters from the original work.
A western release was announced last month but platforms were not revealed. With Koei Tecmo’s recent localization policy, chances are slim that Attack on Titan 2 will be coming to the PS Vita in the west but at least the Nintendo Switch version should be heading westwards.
