The Count Lucanor Coming To Nintendo Switch In October 2017

Merge Games has announced that The Count Lucanor is coming to Nintendo Switch on October 18, 2017 for $14.99 / €14.99 / £11.99. Update: We were told that the game launches on October 18, 2017 and not on October 28 as stated in the press release.

The Count Lucanor is an action-adventure with a retro feel that falls halfway between 8-bit and 16-bit styles. Inspired by classic games like The Legend of Zelda, Yume Nikki, Silent Hill and Dark Souls, The Count Lucanor is an amazing mystery and horror adventure set in a fairytale world. The game features important choices, alternative endings, secrets and different ways to solve puzzles.

As if the infected vegetables weren’t enough, the Alien vegeneration ray has also affected the fruit and mushrooms or Earth. Over 20 freshly squeezed organic and unique enemies are eager to taste of your humany flavour… And if, by chance, you manage to survive the unending onslaught of said ripe, ravenous ravagers, the several Epic Boss Fights are sure to put an end to your measly existence. Muahahahahaaa!

To survive you’ll need to build up your character, creating powerful effect combinations by choosing from more than 20 unique Skills, including such game changers as Big Game Hunter, Pulpinator, Akimbo and Tongue of Steel!

The Count Lucanor features a soundtrack by the greatest composer of all time, Johann Sebastian Bach, that will remain etched in your mind forever. Using chiptune tools, the game features a transformed series of hidden gems from the composer to create unique soundscape.
