Omega Labyrinth Z Western Release For PS Vita & PS4 Cancelled

PQube today announced that the western release of Omega Labyrinth Z for PS Vita and PS4 has been cancelled.

In a statement released by PQube today, it seems that Sony was against the release in the West and that PQube had to comply with their wishes.

Here is what PQube had to say:

Please see below the statement on the situation of #OmegaLaby rinthZ in the West. It is with sadness that we announce that the game is cancelled on both platforms and all Western regions permanently. We will not comment further on this matter. Thank you for your support.

“PQube strives to release Japanese content for its fans as close to the source material as possible. In the case of Omega Labyrinth Z, while PQube has worked with all relevant age rating bodies in their respective territories, PQube must respectfully comply with the wishes of the platform holder and have therefore withdrawn any future plans for Omega Labyrinth Z’s European and North American release on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.”

Omega Labyrinth Z was already banned in United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand.

In Japan, Omega Labyrinth Z was released for PS Vita and PS4 on July 6, 2017.

Aww, I was looking forward to this booby based dungeon crawler. Meanwhile the RE2 remake practically bukkakes the world with blood and viscera at E3, but that’s okay, it’s just violence. No where near as bad as tiddies, an I right?
