Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X Will Include New Live Quest Mode

Sega has released the first screenshots for its recently announced rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X for PS Vita and PS4, showing the new “Live Quest Mode” and the “Rush Notes” feature.

Besides the “Free Play Mode” there will also be a new “Live Quest Mode” where you can play quests via posted bulletins through five divided areas. The “Diva Room” that appeared in past Hatsune Miku games will act as the base for this mode. Once a quest has been completed there will be conversations between the characters.

With the new feature “Rush Notes” players can achieve a higher score when the word “Rush” appears on the screen pressing repeatedly the corresponding button within the allotted time.

Modules (costumes) can be purchased using the in-game Diva Points currency and with the new “Module Drop” feature more Modules can be gained by clearing quest conditions and succeeding “Chance Time” opportunities.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will feature 30 songs, the first songs and modules have been revealed:

  • “Renai Saiban” (40mP)
    Module: Judgment
  • “Raspberry*Monster” (HoneyWorks)
    Module: Raspberryism
  • “Strangers” (Heavenz)
    Module: Silent Voice

The following characters will appear in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X:

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X will be released for PS Vita in Japan in March 2016 and for PS4 in fall 2016.
