Developer Heart Machine has revealed via a new trailer that its 2D action role-playing game Hyper Light Drifter will be released in spring 2016.

Hyper Light Drifter is a 2D Action RPG in the vein of the best 8-bit and 16-bit classics, with modernized mechanics and designs on a much grander scale. In the game you will play as the Drifter equipped with an energy sword to explore a beautiful, vast and ruined world to find a cure for an illness the Drifter carries.

Hyper Light Drifter is in development for PS Vita, PS4 and other consoles.
