Sega’s 2D fighting game Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is out today for PS Vita and PS3 in North & South America and in Europe. In North and South America, each retail launch copy includes a special Bonus Edition Soundtrack CD. In Europe, the fighting game will be available digital only via the PlayStation Network.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax is a 2D arcade fighting game developed by Ecole Software and French Bread featuring characters and assist characters from Dengeki Bunko light novels.

Among the playable characters are Asuna and Kirito (Sword Art Online), Kuroyukihime (Accel World), Tomoka Minato (Ro-Kyu-Bu!), Shizuo Heiwajima (Durarara!!), Mikoto Misaka (A Certain Magical Index), Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and Kirino Kousaka (Oreimo).

Support characters are Sadao Maou (The Devil is a Part Timer!), Enju Aihara (Black Bullet), Alicia Melchiott (Valkyria Chronicles) and Leafa (Sword Art Online), Izaya Orihara (Durarara!!), Kuroneko (Oreimo), Wilhelmina Carmel (Shakugan no Shana), and many others.

Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax features 14 playable characters and 23 assist characters, an original arcade story mode, playable bosses Akira Yuki (Virtua Fighter) and Selvaria Bles (Valkyria Chronicles), Sega themed stages like Sonic the Hedgehog and NiGHTS, 60 unique battle vignettes, online multiplayer and Cross-Save between the PS Vita and PS3 versions.
