Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure Might Be Heading To The PS Vita

COWCAT’s Kickstarter Campaign for the point-and-click adventure Demetrios – The BIG Cynical Adventure has reached its funding goal of €2.500 for the PC, Mac and Linux versions this week.

Fabrice Breton, the one-man indie developer behind COWCAT, revealed that due to the high interest in the PS Vita version he has lowered the stretch goal for Sony’s handheld to €5.000. At the time of writing, €2.810 have been funded with 15 days to go to secure the PS Vita port.

Demetrios is inspired by adventure classics like Broken Sword, Runaway and Discworld and puts you in the shoes of the French antigue seller Bjorn Thonen who embarks on a great adventure in his home country France, travelling later to Germany and a mysterious African country,  to encounter big secrets and weird situations, and solving insane puzzles.

Demetrios will feature 8 to 12 hours of adventure gameplay with lots of humor, puzzles for beginners and experts with a high level of interactivity, Mini games which are well integrated into the story, funny “Game overs” and well-hidden cookies for optional in-game help to solve the puzzles.

If you want to follow or back the campaign, you can head over to the Demetrios Kickstarter Campaign. For those who already want to try the adventure, a free demo version is available at COWCAT’s official website.
