TowerFall Ascension And The Dark World Expansion Coming To PS Vita On December 15

Matt Makes Games has announced via the PlayStation Blog that TowerFall Ascension and the Dark World Expansion will be released for the PS Vita and PlayStation TV in North America on December 15, 2015 digitally via the PlayStation Network for $14.99 for the game and the expansion will be $9.99.

TowerFall Ascension will be available as Cross-Buy meaning if you already bought the game or its DLC on PS4, you will automatically own it on the PS Vita. Matt Makes Games is also planning to patch in Cross-Save support shortly that you can transfer your save file between PS Vita and PS4.

TowerFall Ascension is an archery combat platformer which was designed to play with your friends on a couch. On the PS Vita you will use ad hoc wireless to fight your friends on other PS Vita systems in the same room.

The combat platformer features also a single player for those who don’t have friends with a PS Vita near them but the game’s main focus is local multiplayer.
