Oddworld Inhabitants has announced that Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is coming to the PS Vita in North America and Europe on January 19, 2016 digitally via the PlayStation Network.

We have played the first chapter of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty on the PS Vita and have captured some screenshots and a gameplay video.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty is a remake of 1997′s Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee with new graphics, new sound, new controls, and new difficulty levels while maintaining the same classic gameplay as before.

In Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty you lead Abe, a lowly waxer at RuptureFarms, on his escape from the large meat-processing factory on Oddworld. While on your way out, rescue the other Mudokons, seek out for secret areas and complete optional puzzles to bring the factory down from within.
