Adventures of Mana Might Be Released For The PS Vita In The West

The Final Fantasy Adventure Remake (or in Europe Mystic Quest Remake) Adventures of Mana has been released for iOS and Android in the west on February 4, 2016. Only in Japan, Square Enix has released the PS Vita version at the same day, a localization for the west has not been announced so far.

But it seems that Square Enix has listened to all the PS Vita gamers that participated in the VoteVita Campaign to bring Adventures of Mana to the PS Vita in the west.

The development team has updated the Adventures of Mana blog post that they are trying to bring the PS Vita version to the west. Here is what they had to say:

Thank you for all of your comments on a PS Vita edition of Adventures of Mana. We’ve been listening to your feedback and because of your passion for the game, we’re going to look into making a PS Vita version of Adventures of Mana for the west. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to make this happen but we will see what we can do. We’ll let you know if we have any news, so watch out for future updates and thank you for your support.

Additionally, Square Enix has posted a Tweet that all who’d like to play Adventures of Mana on the PS Vita should let them know on their blog post.

Adventures of Mana follows the story of a young hero (that’s you by the way) and a young heroine as they attempt to thwart the Dark Lord of Glaive from destroying the Tree of Mana. The original story remains unchanged but the game is enhanced with updated graphics and controls and a new, rearranged soundtrack from the game’s original composer Kenji Ito.
