Moon Hunters Coming To The PS Vita & PS4 In 2016

Canadian developer Kitfox Games will bring its co-operative myth-building RPG Moon Hunters to the PS Vita and PS4 in 2016.

Moon Hunters is a myth-weaving adventure for 1-4 players, solving ancient mysteries and building mythologies. Explore a hand-painted pixel art world that’s randomly generated yet rich with legends, non-linear stories, and secrets.

On one fateful summer evening, the Moon, source of all magic and spiritual power, does not rise. Your course is clear. You must set out alone or with the other chosen children of the Moon to solve the mystery and restore balance.

Without the Moon’s power, monsters rise up and chaos grows across the lands. Players must rely on one another in a dangerous, ever-changing world. As the days and nights cycle past, players use every last scrap of their wits, weapons, and magical studies to survive, craft, explore, and ultimately triumph.

How you express your personality in difficult decisions shapes your reputation and, ultimately, how your tribe remembers you in the generations to come. What constellation would be your symbol?

  • Build your mythology:
your actions and decisions grow into your reputation, changing how the world reacts to and remembers you.
  • A mystical journey:
Different locations and landmarks each have their own potential to help or hinder adventurers.
  • Online or local co-op:
Playing alone is fine, but team up with others to overcome the hardest challenges!
  • Great for parties:
Each playthrough is less than an hour, allowing people to play together in one sitting.
  • Different every time:
With a randomly generated world and adventure levels, with different upgrades at each vendor, there’s always something new to find.

Moon Hunters will be released for the PS4 in the coming months and the PS Vita version will follow afterwards.
