Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey Announced For PS Vita And PS4

Gust today announced the next game in the Atelier series called Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey for PS Vita and PS4.

Firis Mistroot is the game’s protagonist, a young girl who lives in a mining town who uses her special ability to discover and mine ore. Learne Mistroot is Firis’ older sister and her travel partner, an excellent hunter and also one of the few people that leave the town.

The game’s story focuses on traveling. While Firis does not have a special alchemy studio, she can do alchemy on her journeys. Compared to previous Atelier games, the new game will have larger fields including different areas like a mountain district and a winter landscape buried in snow. There will also be places where a town and a mountain exist together.

Throughout Firis journey, her outfit will change and the game will also feature a concept of time. The world and the story will also change depending on your taken decisions on your journey.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 in Japan in fall 2016.
