New Game! The Challenge Stage! Announced For PS Vita & PS4

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals that 5pb. is working on a new adventure game called New Game! The Challenge Stage! for PS Vita and PS4.

New Game! The Challenge Stage! is a training adventure game based on the popular anime where the player takes control of Aoba Suzukaze who has to create downloadable content for a role-playing game that was decided in a hurry.

In the training parts, you will learn skills from your more experienced co-workers while the training parameters will change depending on which co-workers teach you.

The game’s story will advance in the adventure parts where you’ll be able to follow conversations with your co-workers and friends. Based on your responses, the friendships can change. In the second half of the game you’ll see individual episodes of the co-workers you became friends with in the earlier parts including trigger character routes.

New Game! The Challenge Stage! will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 in Japan on January 26, 2017. The standard edition will be available for 7,300 Yen and a Limited Edition including an Aoba Suzukaze SD figure and an official soundtrack CD for 10,300 Yen.
