Spike Chunsoft’s 2D side-scrolling RPG Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics is out today for the PS Vita and PS4 in North America and Europe digitally via the PlayStation Network featuring Cross-Buy support.
Mystery Chronicle: One Way Heroics is a roguelike RPG, meaning the procedurally generated game world is different with every quest. While roguelikes typically stick you in a narrow dungeon, One Way Heroics gives you an entire world to walk.
But if you insist on exploring every nook and cranny, know that the forced-scrolling screen will push you to your death before you leave the starting castle. So once you start your journey there’s no looking back in this forced-scroll RPG.
- Leave dinky dungeons behind to explore an infinite number of procedurally generated worlds, each with their own terrain, traps and treasure.
- The Shine Raid consumes everything in its path and moves with every action you take! Do you risk taking a detour for loot, or do you play it safe and put more distance between yourself and annihilation.
- With over 20 classes to choose from, no two adventures will ever be the same! A quirky cast of NPC allies keep you company—so long as you take care to keep them alive.
