Musou Stars Gets First Details And Screenshots

Koei Tecmo has released the first details and screenshots for its recently announced action game Musou Stars for the PS Vita and PS4.

Musou Stars is set in a world that has lost its miraculous spring when the king suddenly died. The surviving queen told her daughter of an old legend that the princess attempts a ritual to summon a hero from another world to bring back the power of the spring. But the ritual goes wrong and the heroes summoned by the princess are scattered across various places divided into three factions to compete against each other for the throne.

Confirmed characters are Sanada Yukimura from Samurai Warriors, Zhao Yun from Dynasty Warriors, Oka from Toukiden, Sophie from Atelier Sophie, Kasumi from Dead or Alive, Millenia from the Deception series, and Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden.

Musou Stars uses a free scenario system with multiple endings where the player can choose each next stage. All scenarios are created with traits from the participating titles and through the main mode you will be able to advance the game’s story.

Control scheme is the same as in previous Musou titles, combining square and triangle button to perform a variety of attacks. For each character there will also be special moves. Event scenes before and after the battle show how the story unfolds featuring dialogue scenes that go beyond the boundaries of the participating titles.

Musou Stars will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 in Japan in 2017.
