New Danganronpa V3 Gets New Screenshots, Details & Introduction Trailer

Spike Chunsoft has released new screenshots, new details and an introduction trailer for  New Danganronpa V3 for PS Vita and PS4.

Nonstop debates between the students are triggered during Class Trials when an unclarified issue surfaces. During the debate, the argument progresses automatically while each student makes its remarks. Players have to find the inconsistencies in the weak points of their arguments (which are highlighted in yellow) and to shoot at them with the proper “Truth Bullet” to advance the debate.

Agreement Points are highlighted in blue when you agree with other characters but debate in order to find out if their remarks are true. By pressing and holding the “Truth Bullet” button during a Nonstop Debate, you can shoot a “Lie button” at a weak argumentation to be able to put down an argument.

In Panic Debates, you must identify the inconcistencies of a number of students who are all talking at the same time. Basically it’s like the Nonstop debates but more difficult due to the simultaneously flowing textes and voices.

When a character refutes the protagonist’s argument, a “Rebuttal Showdown and Main Performance” begins. Players have to cut the opponent’s argumentation one after another until they find an inconsistency to be able to refute it with a “Truth Sword”.

New Danganronpa V3 will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 in Japan on January 12, 2017.
