Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception Coming To PS Vita And PS4 In The West On May 23, 2017

Atlus has announced that Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception will be launching for PS Vita and PS4 in North America and Europe on May 23, 2017. In North America, both versions will be available physically and digitally, while in Europe the PS Vita version will be digital-only.

A limited launch edition will be available in North America which will include the following bonuses:

• Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception Compendium Art Book
  This 50-page softcover art book contains art/information about some of the unlikely heroes, fantastical creatures, exotic locales and more! The book also features concept art and developer notes that show a glimpse of the creative process behind building a mystical world. Oh, and it also includes information about the mighty Yamato Empire and its surrounding nations that’ll serve as a guide to those unfamiliar with the Utawarerumono series. • Collector’s Slipcase
  The physical game and art book will be enveloped by a protective slipcase.

In Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, it’s not all adventures and questing for the mysterious amnesiac. When the bloodthirsty Uzurusha warlord Gundhurua decides to invade the mighty nation of Yamato, everyone, including Haku and his friends, will get thrust into the midst of war. Although Haku would much prefer, you know, not fighting in a war, the great Yamato general Oshtor enlists his help in defending innocent civilians from certain doom. Even though he may not be the strongest fighter, he is a gifted strategist who can use his mind against his enemies’ brawn. Will his intelligence be able to carry him through this volatile time?
