Spellspire Coming To PS Vita & PS4 In May 2017

10tons has announced that the action RPG and word game mashup Spellspire will be coming to PS Vita and PS4 in North America on May 23, 2017 and in Europe on May 24, 2017 as a digital release on the Playstation Store for $9.99. The game will also launch on Steam on May 23, 2017 and on XBox One on May 26, 2017.

In Spellspire the player assumes the role of a tiny wizard making his way to the top of a 100 level tower. The player picks letters from a grid of ten letters to spell words. Valid words are blasted out of the wizard’s wand as spells. The longer the word, the bigger the blast. Slain monsters drop gold and loot, which is traded in between levels for more potent wands, hats and robes with magical special effects and abilities.
