Mighty No. 9 PS Vita & 3DS Versions Still On Track And Due Out In 2017

In a recent Kickstarter update for backers, Comcept has revealed that PS Vita and 3DS versions of Mighty No. 9 are still on track and due to be released in 2017.

Comcept clarified that the handheld versions are not cancelled but due to the delay of the other versions, the porting process had to be put on hold for a while. In early May, the developer restarted the porting process and Comcept now estimates to release the PS Vita and 3DS versions sometime in 2017.

Mighty No. 9 is a 2D action-platformer where you play as Beck, the 9th in a line of powerful robots, and the only one immune to a mysterious virus that has caused mechanized creatures the world over to go berserk. In the game, you run, jump, blast, and transform your way through 12 challenging stages using abilities stolen from your enemies to take down your fellow Mighty Number robots and confront the final evil that threatens the planet.
