Dragon Quest XI Sold 2 Million Copies In First Two Days In Japan

Famitsu has revealed that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age has sold 2 million copies in the first two days in Japan.

According to the magazine, the game sold 1,130,468 copies on 3DS and 950,338 copies on PS4 on the days July 29 and July 30, 2017 with total sales of 2,080,806 copies.

The sales numbers include the Dragon Quest XI Double Pack Hero’s Sword Box, the New Nintendo 2DS XL Dragon Quest Liquid Metal Slime Edition, and the PlayStation 4 Dragon Quest Loto Edition. Digital sales are not included in those numbers.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age was released in Japan on July 29, 2017. A western release is scheduled for 2018 with platforms still to be announced. A Switch version is also planned but not dated yet.
