Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition Announced For Nintendo Switch

PQube and XSEED Games have announced the release of the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch.

The Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition includes the original game along with The Pirate Queen’s Quest, and the upcoming Friends Mode and Costumes Mode DLC.

In Friends Mode, Shantae’s pals Sky, Bolo, and Rottytops must survive Shantae’s Nightmare and save their friend from doom, while Costume Mode provides three new arcade-style adventures; Dash, slash, and teleport as Ninja Shantae, work on your tan as Beach Shantae, or alter the level around you ‘Mighty Switch Force’ style as Officer Shantae.

As the defender of Scuttle Town, Shantae has defeated steam-powered pirates, sinister undead and a military takeover in a bid to keep her home town safe, but now, the sassy half-genie must rise to the occasion once again as the Queen of the Seven Seas, Risky Boots, plots to steal a newly discovered limitless source of power.

The Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition will be released both physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe.
