MixedBag and Adventure Productions have announced that they join forces to bring new point and click adventure games to Nintendo Switch and PS4 later this year.
After the console success of Ron Gilbert’s Thimbleweed Park and of remastered editions of the biggest Lucas Arts classics, the idea of bringing new point & click adventure games on Nintendo and Sony consoles represents a challenge that the two publishers have decided to tackle with enthusiasm.
The first two titles to be released on consoles as part of the agreement between MixedBag and Adventure Productions are The Wardrobe and Detective Gallo. Both games will also fully support as additional control system the touch screen on Nintendo Switch and the DualShock 4 Touchpad. Release dates will be announced at later date.
The Wardrobe, developed by C.I.N.I.C. Games and released on Steam in February 2017, tells the deeds of the cynical Skinny, a skeleton committed to saving the soul of his best friend in a world populated by surreal characters and tons of pop culture references from the ’90s and 2000s.
