Shelter Generations Physical Special Edition Out Now On Nintendo Switch

Super Rare Games has announced that its next physical indie release for Nintendo Switch, Shelter Generations, is out today.

This console-exclusive collection includes two games, two soundtracks, and two ‘living books’ – it’s a special, highly collectable, extremely limited bundle previously only available digitally on PC. Physical copies are available now at superraregames.com for $34.99 / £29.99 / €33.99.

Limited to a run of 3,000 copies – and with only a few hundred of those left – Shelter Generations, developed by Might and Delight and published by Circle Entertainment, comes bundled with Shelter 2 on the same cartridge (with the Mountains DLC included). Shelter 2 follows the life of a mother Lynx – experience a journey of parenthood and a story of familial bonds where nurturing your cubs is paramount for survival. The challenges and dangers you face are different every time you play.

This limited edition also includes Paws: A Shelter 2 Game. Based in the same universe, this poetic adventure flips everything on its head – you must explore and survive the wilds as a cub. It features puzzles, a magical soundtrack, and a heartwarming story that will stay with you.

Shelter Generations also includes the official soundtracks of both Shelter 2 and Paws: A Shelter 2 Game, so you can bask in the wonderful sounds of the Shelter world whenever you want. In addition, there are two ‘living book’ experiences to take you further into the Shelter universe – ‘Fables From the Den’ and ‘The Lonesome Fog’.

Each copy also contains a blind-boxed pack of high-quality trading cards. Featuring beautiful artwork from from the game, just 125 of the entire production have been signed by members of the Might and Delight development team, making them highly collectable.
