About the game

Developed by award-winning Spanish indie studio Appnormals Team, STAY is an innovative real-time pixel-adventure where every second counts.

Abducted, main character Quinn wakes up alone in a locked room with nothing of note except for a computer hooked up to an internet chat room. That chat room has one other member: You.

As Quinn’s only contact with the outside world, you become his single ray of hope. Your choices – and your timeliness when it comes to responding to his requests – will single-handedly shape his escape efforts… or lead him down the path to an untimely end.

Sometimes all a game needs to be utterly gripping is to sit you down with another character and chat.

Game features

  • The clock never stops
STAY plays out in real-time, meaning that every minute spent away from the game is a minute Quinn is left alone
  • Raise your empathy
Prove yourself a compassionate ally and he’ll learn to trust you
  • Interactive storytelling
Featuring 24 chapters, 7 different endings, dozens of life-altering choices and entire webs of conversation, replayable multiple times
  • Uncover the truth
Webcams around the environment and on the computer enable you to watch and analyse Quinn’s reactions, mental state and actions
