Nintendo Plans To Release Two New Switch Models As Early As This Summer
According to the Wallstreet Journal, Nintendo plans to release two new Switch models as early as this summer.
One new version will have enhanced features targeted at avid gamers, but it won’t be as powerful as PS4 Pro or XBox One X, according to parts suppliers and software developers who have early access to a prototype of the machine.
The other new model is a cheaper version for casual gamers that Nintendo sees as a successor to the 3DS.
According to the Wall Street Journal, people who have seen the two new models said designs of the new devices are “different from the original and you’d be surprised.”
