KOEI TECMO America and developer Omega Force have dropped a thrilling free demo for their upcoming fantasy hunting game, WILD HEARTS S, available now on Nintendo Switch 2.

Players can dive into the opening chapters, from the game’s prologue through to the city of “Minato,” exploring the beautiful world of Azuma solo or in co-op with up to three others—either online* or locally. Whether you’re battling solo or teaming up with fellow hunters, expect intense encounters with nature-infused beasts like the agile “Ragetail,” the toxic “Sapscourge,” and the hulking “Kingtusk,” a monstrous boar whose tusks are truly terrifying.

To survive, you’ll craft and deploy “Karakuri” (mechanical constructs) to shape your environment and gain an edge in combat. Powerful weapons and tactical thinking are a must as you carve your path through the wild. Best of all, progress made in the demo carries over to the full game when it launches globally on July 25, 2025.
