The Last Blade 2 Coming To The PS Vita & PS4 In North America On May 24, 2016

SNK Playmore has announced via the PlayStation blog that The Last Blade 2 will be released for the PS Vita and PS4 in North America on May 24, 2016 with Cross-Buy support. A release date for Europe has not been announced yet.

The Last Blade 2 is an arcade fighting game originally released in 1998 in Japan and later for the Neo Geo, Dreamcast and the Wii Virtual console.

Developed by Code Mystics, the new PS Vita and PS4 versions will feature local and online multiplayer as well as cross play functionality between the PS Vita and PS4, meaning players can duel against each other between both consoles. Furthermore, save data can be shared via cross save.

In addition to 12 returning combatants (including boss character Kagami from the series’ predecessor), four brand new characters and two hidden ones join the gorgeous roster of 18. Choose the character and fighting style that suits you the most, and prepare for an epic battle to seal Hell’s Gate.
